I’m Katie Young — a mother, maker, and manifestor of designs and dreams. Some say there’s a little bit of magic in the way I bring clothes together — energetically aligned, stitched with story, and made to be felt as much as seen.
This silk wrap jumpsuit is one of my own designs — Forever Young meets English Eccentrics — crafted from the most exquisite stretch silk in a rare Pushkin print, rediscovered deep within English Eccentrics’ secret archive.
My creative story began in Somerset, where my grandfather — a farmer with a practical yet inventive spirit — taught me to make use of what we already have. I learned early on to see beauty in forgotten fabrics, to customise and reinvent, to turn waste into wonder.
Those roots led me to a 30-year career across London and Hong Kong, designing, developing, and sourcing for heritage and luxury brands. Over the years, I’ve been honoured with six industry awards, including recognition for sustainability and as a finalist for Best Boutique Contract Uniform Supplier for the Royal Palaces.
Yet my passion has always remained the same — shape, fit, and fabric. The joy of finding textiles that breathe life into a design still lights me up every day.
Now, back in Somerset, I’m weaving together decades of experience into something more personal — sharing my creative process and inspiring others to align their energy, wardrobe, and purpose.
✨ Style, sustainability, and soul — that’s my kind of magic.
